Private Surf Instruction
Stinson Beach Surf Camp surf coaches will get you where you need to be. Whether this is your first surfing experience or if you just want to sharpen your skills, we have the coaching that will enable you to reach your goals.
Our coaches will work with you one on one which provides students with individual attention and a safer environment in which to learn surfing. For beginner surfers instruction starts on the beach with basic instruction and ocean safety. We then take you out in the water for your surfing experience. Our coaches will be by your side out in the water to provide the instruction and safety need for your first surfing experience.
For the intermediate level, we will evaluate the level of your surfing skills with your coach who will be out in the lineup with you on their own board and then back to the beach filming you to get all the information you need to step it up to the next level. Your coach will cover everything needed including, ocean awareness, and surf etiquette, beach and wave selection, paddling techniques more advanced duck diving and turning techniques.
